When filming 'Keanu' (2016) star Tiffany Haddish was joined on set by no less than seven kittens. Together they shared the starring role of the kitten, Keanu.
Speaking of the day the pair met, the trainer said: "She had this instant bond. So we continued to facilitate Quvenzhané’s natural instincts with Marti, and they just became friends."
Hardy was so enamored with the puppies playing Rocco that he even persuaded the handler to allow him to take one home with him "to cuddle."
The dog's trainer told People: "In between takes, [Robert Downey Jr.] would put her in his lap and sit with her." The actor wasn't allowed to adopt the dog, however.
McGregor was not allowed to adopt the dog after filming, but the experience apparently prompted him to visit a dog shelter and adopt a dog of his own.
And it's no surprise either: the film's director Chad Stahelski has previously said that the dog has "the most gentle personality you could imagine for a pit bull."
The crew was filming one of the final scenes at a dog shelter. Evans apparently fell in love with Dodger at first sight and was instantly sure that the pair were meant for each other.

In 2018 Cooper told People that in choosing his pup Charlie for the role, "There was no nepotism. I wanted this relationship with the dog."
Her mother apparently persuaded the show's creators to let Turner's family adopt the dog. She has since added another two dogs to the pack.
