A large number of devastating wildfires have been raging across several West Coast states. As of September 11, 28 fires have been reported in California. In Oregon, where the cities of Phoenix and Talent have been particularly affected, 37 wildfires remain active. Washington has also been hit by deadly fires. According to the state's Governor Jay Inslee, "In the last three days, the wildfires have burned about 600,000 acres."
