▲More R&B than pop, Boyz II Men dominated the charts with their hits 'End of the Road' and 'I'll Make Love to You.' More recently, they've found renewed success touring with the likes of New Kids on the Block and 98 Degrees.

This boy band appeared on season nine of the UK's 'X Factor,' finishing in fifth place. Once a four-man band, they've also been a trio and, as of January 2019, a duo.

▲We can't talk about boy bands of the '90s without mentioning the British wave, led largely by the likes of bands such as Take That. Robbie Williams was their breakout star, having an on-again, off-again relationship with the band, who still continue to make music and tour.

▲Five, or 5ive, were (unsurprisingly) a five-man band originally, known for hits like 'It's the Things You Do.' Their most successful period was 1997 to 2001. They continue to make music today as a trio.

▲This Irish band's most famous lineup was composed of Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, and the late Stephen Gately. After a break between 2000 and 2007, the band has continued to make music together over the years.

▲These three were a trio from the start. They split in 2003, but reunited in 2018. Go ahead, listen to 'Still on Your Side' for that nostalgic feeling.

▲These Irish lads are the band Simon Cowell bragged about signing back during his early days on 'American Idol.' Hits like 'Swear It Again' and 'World of Our Own' justified his bragging. After going on hiatus in 2008, Westlife returned in 2018.

▲You could argue that none of the previously mentioned bands would have enjoyed such success if not for the groundwork that New Kids on the Block laid down in the mid-80's and early '90s. After a long break, they reunited and are still touring and making new music.

▲Sadly, tragedy would later strike this band: after complications resulting from their cancer battles, Rich Cronin (left) passed away in 2010, while Devin Lima (right) left us in 2018.

▲A refresher: 'I Swear' won the Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1995, and 'I Can Love You Like That' was nominated in the same category the following year. The band is still touring and making music together.

▲This American boy band was the result of a Nickelodeon show of the same name that aired between 2009 and 2013. But despite three successful albums, the band stopped performing together in 2014.

▲JLS came to attention after becoming the runners-up on the fifth season of the UK's 'X Factor.' The band split in 2013.

Before there was Michael Jackson the solo artist, there was The Jackson 5 (later The Jacksons). Along with The Osmonds, these brothers are often credited as being the earliest predecessors of the modern-day boy band.

This short-lived band was comprised of 11-14 year olds, and can be thanked for launching the career of Jesse McCartney.

▲Stars of the early '70s, this band of brothers was actually a barbershop quartet until younger brothers Jimmy and Donny joined. Of course, Donny would go on to form a successful duo with their only sister, Marie.

▲Blue gave us several hits in the early '00s, like 'All Rise,' 'Too Close,' and 'One Love.' The band has been collaborating again since 2011, when they represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest.

▲With over 100 million records sold worldwide, the Backstreet Boys are the best-selling boy band of all time. Now due to recent successful tours and a Las Vegas residency, BSB are enjoying renewed popularity.

▲*NSYNC rivaled the Backstreet Boys for the title of top boy band of their era. But since announcing a "temporary hiatus" in 2002, they've never reunited. This most certainly has a lot to do with Justin Timberlake's successful solo career.

▲We saw this band come together over the first season of MTV's 'Making the Band.' Originally calling it quits in 2003, they moved on without Ashley Parker Angel in 2013.

▲This British-Norwegian boy band had their best years between 1998 and 2002, during which time you may remember their cover of A-ha's 'Take On Me.' The full band reunited in 2018.

▲Incorporating rap into their songs, B2K enjoyed hits like 'Bump, Bump, Bump.' Omarion was the band's standout star, and reunited with the band for 2019's The Millennium Tour.

▲Best known for their duet with Selena, 'Donde Quiera Que Estés,' this band was made up of New York City-raised Puerto Ricans. They broke up in 2001.

▲This other Canadian trio brought us hits like 'Get Down' and 'Go Go,' all before they called it quits in 2004. The twins of the band went on to form RyanDan in 2006.

▲Incredibly, New Edition formed all the way back in 1978, spawning hits like 'Candy Girl' and 'Mr. Telephone Man.' The band's had different lineups over the years, but as of 2005 they've all reunited (including Bobby Brown and his replacement, Johnny Gill).

▲Let's show the Canadians some love too. 'Faded,' soulDecision's big hit, charted as high as #22 in the US, and hit #1 in their home country. Lead vocalist Trevor Guthrie has gone on to a successful solo career.

▲One of the biggest Latin boy bands ever, this Puerto Rican band also gave the world Ricky Martin. The group has had several different lineups between 1977 and 2009.

▲They're the biggest boy band in the world right now, and one of the most popular musical acts around, period. Everything indicates that this South Korean group will only get bigger.

All of the '90s kids out there were shook with the news that three of the biggest boybands of the era are joining together for an epic Las Vegas show. It's the trifecta: Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and Boyz II Men. Key members of each band have collaborated to create a live show called 'The After Party' which will take place in the Venetian Resort in August. It will be the first time the three bands have worked together, and fans can expect renditions of their greatest hits, some smooth dance moves, and special guests.

Boy bands: they've been around in one form or another since the '60s, and they've often been the music of our childhoods and/or teen years. For some of us, they were our first crushes. For others, they taught us what the word "rivalry" means (Backstreet Boys versus *NSYNC, anyone?). Boy bands have been "in", they've been "out," and now they're back in thanks to the likes of One Direction and, more recently, BTS.

They're so "in," in fact, that some boy bands of yore are reuniting. After seven years on hiatus, Big Time Rush is officially returning to the stage. They'll only be returning for a small tour, with shows in Chicago and New York, but all four original members—Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos Pena Jr.—will be in attendance.
