Hoia Baciu Forest is located near Cluj-Napoca, a city in the Transylvania region of Romania.

The forest covers a region of approximately 295 hectares (729 acres).

The forest was named after a shepherd and a flock of 200 sheep that went missing.

The Hoia forest is also known as the Bermuda Triangle of Romania.

Paranormal activity reported in the forest includes orbs of light, apparitions, voices, and even being scratched.

Many people report that they lose their sense of time and have no recollection of how long they spent in the forest and what happened while in there.

▲Poltergeist activity and malfunctioning electronics have also been reported.

▲Some people have reportedly been hit by stones or had their car's windshield broken when there was nobody else nearby.

▲Some people have reported being "pushed" and attacked by invisible entities.

There's a popular local story about a five-year-old girl who once disappeared after wandering into the forest, only to emerge five years later wearing the same clothes and with no recollection of what had happened.

There's an area in the forest where, according to records, nothing has ever grown. This is despite soil sample results showing that there is nothing in the soil that would prevent vegetation from growing.

▲This area is thought to be the epicenter of all paranormal activity, and attracts a number of people to the site, from scientists to people trying to take advantage of the supposedly mystical power of the place.

▲Covens of witches, and even people trying to cleanse the evil energy through yoga, flock to this area of the forest.

▲Some people believe there's a gate to another dimension in the clearing.

It's believed that many Romanian peasants were murdered in the area, and that their tormented souls haunt the forest to this day.

▲Reportedly, Nicolas Cage was shooting a film in the country and traveled specifically to Cluj-Napoca to visit this spooky forest.
