The 30-year-old actress debuted rich, dark brown hair at the 70th Ballon d’Or ceremony in London on October 26, pairing her new look with a sleek black suit. She has been sporting brunette locks for her role as Lara Croft in Prime Video’s upcoming live-action ‘Tomb Raider’ series.
Turner has been changing her hair color since she was 13, when she dyed her naturally blonde hair red to play Sansa Stark in ‘Game of Thrones.’
“I don’t really identify with any hair color these days, although it’s interesting to see how the world reacts,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald in an interview published August 9. She also revealed that blonde gets the most positive reaction, while brunette helps her blend in and get recognized less often.
