This epic historical period drama marked a move away from Spielberg's previous family-orientated blockbusters. Instead, the multi-award-winning 'Schindler's List' told the story of one man's efforts to save the lives of more than 1,000 mostly Polish-Jewish refugees from the Holocaust.
