▲Terrorists attack Charlie Hebdo's offices in Paris, and conduct four other attacks around the city. In total, 17 people are killed.

▲Suicide bombers blow themselves up in London. The targets are three underground trains and a bus. The attack kills 52 people and injures over 700.

▲A number of terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings and mass shootings, kill 130 people and injure hundreds more in Paris, France.

▲Two U.S. airmen are shot dead and two people are injured in an attack at Frankfurt Airport.
