Fast-forward 10 years later and on December 5, 2019, 'Lord Above' by Fat Joe dropped, with Eminem on the track mentioning Carey and Cannon, who responded with the diss track 'The Invitation.' Since then, the two have continued to go after each other on Twitter.
The beef between champion boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and controversial YouTuber Logan Paul is an odd one. How would two such people even cross paths? Logan Paul is an aspiring boxer, and Mayweather made his thoughts about wannabe YouTube boxers pretty clear. They began bickering on Twitter, and somehow it snowballed into an official high-profile boxing match between the two. Mayweather is famed for his attitude and trash talk, so when he came up against an arrogant young YouTuber who thought he could beat him, all hell broke loose. The fight went the full eight-round distance, and no winner was announced.
These exes have clashed a lot on Twitter after Kanye talked smack about the singer and even mentioned her kids.
Cantankerous Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher made scathing comments about Prince Harry in an interview with The Sun. He criticized the Prince in an expletive-laden rant, calling him a "woke snowflake", and slammed him for "dissing" his family in public. (Ironic coming from the man who has carried on an extremely public decade-long feud with his own brother.) When commenting on Prince Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle, he said "This is what happens when you get involved with Americans. As simple as that.” While Prince Harry is unlikely to engage in a public battle with Gallagher, it's safe to say there's no love lost between the two.
The wealthy 'Seinfeld' creator and the equally wealthy high-profile lawyer are both frequent visitors of the upmarket holiday destination of Martha's Vineyard, and in the past, were close friends. Unfortunately, this ended when Dershowitz started representing members of the Trump administration. The liberal David confronted Dershowitz about his work with Trump when they ran into each other at a convenience store and told him he was disgusted by his actions. Dershowitz reportedly tried to reason with David saying "We can still talk, Larry," but David did not accept his olive branch.
Many had hoped Drake and Kanye "Ye" West's feud was over after relative silence following their 2021 truce, but Drake appeared to taunt his old rival. On an episode of Sound 42’s 'The Fry Yiy Show' on SiriusXM Radio, the Canadian rapper shared a preview of a track called 'Rescue Me' which features a sample of Kim Kardashian discussing her divorce with Ye. “I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” she said in the clip from the 2021 series finale of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.' Maybe it was just relevant to the song, but fans know West doesn't take too well to people getting involved in any degree with his ex-wife, much less his biggest rival of the past few years.
In an 2021 interview with The New Yorker, Paul McCartney said, "I’m not sure I should say it, but they’re a blues cover band, that’s sort of what the Stones are." Ouch! “I think our net was cast a bit wider than theirs.” Weeks later, Mick Jagger responded to the comments on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music show and said that the real difference is that "The Rolling Stones is a big concert band in other decades and other areas when the Beatles never even did an arena tour, or Madison Square Garden with a decent sound system.” Jagger clarified, "One band is unbelievably luckily, still playing in stadiums and then the other band doesn’t exist."
The pair argued in 2009 and 2013, and things escalated when Lady Gaga presented Osbourne's mom Sharon with a conciliatory birthday cake. Osbourne didn't like the gesture and took to social media with some harsh comments.
Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson have been at war since things turned nasty on the set of the 2017 movie, 'The Fate of the Furious.' Diesel even slammed the actor in a since-deleted Instagram post. He said that fans would be able to tell he wasn't acting in scenes where his blood was boiling in the movie. The two haven't worked together since and have made various comments about each other in interviews that show they're not on good terms. However, Diesel publicly addressed Johnson in an open letter in November 2021, asking him to return for the series' tenth and final installment. He appealed to their old friendship, calling him his "little brother" and reminding him that his children think of him as an uncle. Diesel claimed that he made a promise to his deceased friend and co-star Paul Walker to give the franchise a perfect conclusion, and said that he needed Johnson to return in order to keep that promise: "Do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can't be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfil your destiny."
Drake and Kanye West have had a tense relationship, to say the least. They've bickered on social media and through their songs, and things got quite nasty between them, especially in 2021 when West tried to align his 'Donda' release date with Drake's 'Certified Lover Boy' release date, Drake hit back in a Trippie Red song, and West briefly publicly shared his address. They seemed to bury the hatchet at Drake’s house party on November 15, 2021, when Drake posted a video of the two smiling together, but fans knew it wouldn’t last.
Will Ferrell and Adam McKay made comedy magic together for over two decades, including films like 'Anchorman,' 'Step Brothers,' and 'Talladega Nights.' They even seemed amicable in April 2019 when they announced they were ending their partnership on their joint production company, Gloria Sanchez Productions, which they claimed was due to McKay's greater bandwidth for producing. But apparently that wasn't the whole story, and Ferrell has completely cut McKay off. In a Vanity Fair profile, McKay revealed that the final blow in their relationship was when he decided to cast John C. Reilly over Ferrell in his 2022 HBO drama series about the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers. Lakers fan Ferrell was originally cast as team owner, but Reilly looked more like the part. The problem is that McKay hired Reilly behind Ferrell’s back. McKay admitted that he handled the situation badly and tried to apologize, but he said he thinks Ferrell may never speak to him again.
Ye started a feud with his Coachella co-headliner Billie Eilish after calling her out for a perceived slight against his friend and fellow rapper, Travis Scott. In the wake of the Astroworld tragedy, many artists have been extra attentive to their fans while performing on stage. Eilish stopped her concert in Atlanta when she noticed a distressed fan in the audience. From the stage, Eilish said "Don’t crowd…We’re taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be ok until I keep going.” Ye interpreted these comments as an indirect diss to Travis Scott, who unknowingly continued performing while dozens of fans were injured, and some killed, in the crowd at Astroworld. He took to Instagram to accuse her of dissing Scott, and said "Come on Billie we love you. Please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives. No one intended this to happen.” He added, “Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened, and yes Trav will be with me at Coachella, but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform.” Eilish responded a couple of hours later saying "Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan."
A month later, Johnson gave his response in a frank interview with CNN. He called Diesel's public request an "example of his manipulation," and stated that he had already informed Diesel that he would not return to the franchise in a private face-to-face conversation. As such, he was surprised to see the open letter, and wasn't pleased about the references to his children and the loss of a mutual friend. "I didn't like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker's death. Leave them out of it." Johnson reiterated that he will not return for 10th and final film in the 'Fast & Furious' series.
Kanye "Ye" West went to war on his Instagram account over the Super Bowl weekend, taking aim at Pete Davidson for obvious reasons and, more surprisingly, his longtime friend and collaborator Kid Cudi. On February 12, in a since-deleted note to Instagram, Ye tagged Cudi as well as Kim Kardashian and wrote, "Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda [2] because he’s friends with you know who,” as per Billboard. Cudi, who last collaborated with Ye on his 2021 'Donda' album, left a comment on Ye’s post that read: "Too bad I dont wanna be on ur album u [ ] dinosaur hahaha." He continued, "everyone knows ive been the best thing about ur albums since i met u. Ima pray for you brother.” Then Cudi tweeted, “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE."
On February 15, 2022, Azealia Banks opened fire on Julia Fox, Kanye West's ex and Banks' former friend. In response to Fox's post that she isn't sad about her breakup with Ye but is instead a "#1 hustler," and "came up," Banks wrote on her Instagram Stories, "What did you hustle him for? A bag and some Lucien's? You absolutely did not come up because if this is how women who 'always date billionaires' behave when [stuff] goes south, threatening tell-all books... You can kiss your days as a low-rate escort goodbye, sis."
What followed were a series of low blows and screenshots of messages posted to both of their Instagram Stories. Banks called Fox, who has been open with her history of addiction, a "dirty junkie who was shooting up while she was pregnant" and though Fox warned Banks not to talk about her son, Banks proceeded to call her son "a crackbaby." Fox shared screenshots in which Banks was asking her to go out and call the paparazzi on themselves, as well as asking her for drugs, and Fox called her "a beggar [ ][ ]" and claimed that Banks is attacking her because she's jealous of her baby. Then Banks seemed to shut the whole thing down by posting a shocking photo of what appears to be Fox shooting up. Fox deleted her stories after that and put her end of the public feud to bed.
After months of being publicly slandered, Davidson, who doesn't have social media, shared screenshots of messages he sent to Ye via 'SNL' guest writer Davie Sirus's Twitter, which were confirmed by E! News to be authentic. It began on March 13 when Ye started airing out more family-related grievances regarding his children. "Yo it's Skete," Davidson began. He asked Ye to "calm down" because "Kim is the literally the best mother I've ever met," adding, "I've decided that I'm not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet. Grow ... up." When Ye asked where he was, Davidson replied with a photo of himself laying down and wrote, "In bed with your wife." He continued, "You don't scare me bro ... It's so sad to watch you ruin ur legacy on the daily," he wrote, while offering to meet in LA to talk things out between them. Ye told him to come to Sunday Service but Davidson said he didn't want the press. "What you are doing to your family is dangerous and going to scar them for life. Please handle these matters privately bro I beg you."
Then Davidson changed his tune. "Let me help you man," he wrote, "I struggle with mental stuff too ... there's no shame in having a little help." He let Ye know that he's been blocking 'SNL' and standup comedians from making jokes about him because he wants "everything to be smooth," but added, "But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months I'm gonna stop being nice."
In a video on Instagram while praying to God, Ye referenced the messages: "The boyfriend texts me, antagonizing me, bragging about being in bed with my wife," he said in the now-deleted clip. "I'm like, well, who's watching my children if he's texting me, bragging about being in bed with my wife?"
Most people don't know that rapper Pusha T and his brother co-wrote the famous McDonald's 'I'm Lovin' It' jingle. What's more, Pusha partnered with Arby's in revenge to put out a diss track about the fast-food giant. "I'm the reason the whole world love it/Now I gotta crush it/Filet-o-Fish is []/And you should be disgusted/How dare you sell a square fish, asking us to trust it/A half slice of cheese, Mickey D's on a budget?" Pusha raps on the short track. Rolling Stone reported on March 21 that Pusha was paid "peanuts" for crafting the extremely famous slogan and jingle back in 2003, and now the rapper is getting even by teaming up with Arby's to promote their Spicy Fish Sandwich while also tearing down the competition. Pusha included in his tweet with the track: "#ArbysPaidMeButIWouldSayThisAnyway," and Rolling Stone confirmed that Pusha took his revenge to the bank.
Sylvester Stallone has been vocal on social media about his feud with producer Irwin Winkler, and his son, David Winkler. Irwin co-produced the 'Rocky' films and served as producer for the 'Creed' spin-off series starring Michael B. Jordan. Stallone has producing credits for the 'Creed' movies, but none for 'Rocky,' which he wrote, starred in, and sometimes directed.
Stallone revealed in 2019 that he had requested some of the rights to the 'Rocky' franchise he was so deeply involved in creating, but was dismissed by the Winklers on the basis that he got to star in the movies instead. In a 1983 interview, Irwin Winkler told the Hollywood Reporter that the initial deal made with Stallone was that he could star in the movie, while Winkler and the other producers would put their houses up for collateral to get it made. Stallone has called Winkler out on social media, claiming he was barely involved in the making of most the 'Rocky' movies and stating that it's completely unfair for the 'Rocky' legacy to stay within Winkler's family alone. “This is a painful subject that eats at my soul, because I wanted to leave something of Rocky for my children," he wrote.
Kanye "Ye" West created a mostly one-sided feud with Pete Davidson after the comedian was romantically linked to Kim Kardashian. West's fury continued even after Davidson and Kardashian's relationship ended. In August, the rapper unleashed a tirade on Instagram, once again sharing screenshots of messages he exchanged with Kardashian about their children and making threatening comments about Davidson. One post read, “ask Pete how those tattoos of my kids doing in the trauma unit.” Davidson became close to Kardashian's kids during their relationship and had their initials tattooed on his neck. The posts were later deleted, reportedly because Kardashian was "livid" with West for slipping back into his old ways.
It was revealed earlier in August that Davidson had been undergoing trauma therapy to deal with the public attacks from West. From rapping about beating "Pete Davidson's a--" in his music, calling him numerous hurtful names on social media, and sharing a since-deleted Instagram post of a fake New York Times front page that read, "Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28," just days after Davidson and Kardashian had split, there is no further explanation necessary for why this would affect the comedian's mental health.
'The Hills' star Spencer Pratt ignited a very public feud after claiming that 'Friends' actress Lisa Kudrow was "one of the worst humans" he's ever met. The reality TV personality was responding to a fan on TikTok who asked him to name the rudest celebrity he’s ever met, to which he replied, "Oh, that’s easy–Phoebe from Friends." He added, “Hands down one of the worst humans I’ve ever come in contact with. By far."
Pratt said he'd “think about telling the story” if the clip was viewed a million times, then explained in a later video, "The year was 2009 and Heidi [Montag, his wife] and I were invited to our first elite A-list party. It was clear when we got there, no one wanted us there." He said as they were enjoying themselves and "consuming a little caviar, Phoebe approaches, which was a little shocking as no one had spoken to us at all at the party.” He alleged that Kudrow then told his wife “right in front of me, that she needs to get away from me as fast as possible because I’m going to murder [her]," and that Kudrow told him he had “the eyes of a serial killer." Montag reportedly waited to see if it was a joke, but Kudrow allegedly just walked away, "and that right there was the rudest moment I’ve ever encountered with a human being," Pratt concluded.
'Real Housewives of New York City' alum Bethenny Frankel wrote in the comments section of Pratt's first video: "That’s crazy. She was on my talk show and I had a crazy experience also.” She later said in a TikTok video that Kudrow was rude to her on her talk show because she "didn't want to be there."
Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger look chummy these days after co-starring in films like 'The Expendables' and 'Escape Plan,' but the action stars actually once hated each other. Stallone admitted to Forbes that back when they were box office rivals in the '80s and '90s, “We really disliked each other immensely.”
Stallone added, “We were… this may sound a little vain, but I think we were pioneering a kind of genre at that time and it hasn’t been seen since really. So the competition, because it’s his nature, he is very competitive and so am I… and I just thought it actually helped, but off-screen we were still competitive and that was not a healthy thing at all, but we’ve become really good friends.”
On an episode of 'The Jonathan Ross Show', Stallone elaborated on their rivalry and said, “We couldn’t stand to be in the same galaxy together for a while. We truly, truly loathed each other.”
Both stars came forward during the Harvey Weinstein scandal to accuse him of sexual assault. However, McGowan would later release a statement alleging that she believed Argento was sexually involved with actor Jimmy Bennett when he was 17. Argento reportedly gave McGowan 24 hours to withdraw her statement, threatening legal action if McGowan failed to do so.
Antonio Brown crossed the line again in his strange feud with Tom Brady by posting an obviously photoshopped naked photo of Gisele Bündchen on social media. The polarizing ex-NFL wide receiver shared the image of the model's face edited on top of another woman's body to his Snapchat on November 21 2022 without any caption, so there remains no explanation why Brown is dragging Brady's ex-wife into this, though the photo was quickly taken down.
That was another in a string of Brown's bizarre social media attacks against Brady, which began in October around the time of Brady's divorce, and includes a photo on Instagram of Brown and Bündchen celebrating the Buccaneers' Super Bowl win in February 2021, and a photo of Brown's face photoshopped onto Brady's body in a photo where Bündchen had her arms around him. It's unclear if Brown and Brady had a falling out but Brown has reportedly shared critical social media posts about Brady following his release from the Buccaneers in January. Brown seemingly tried to expose Brady by sharing a text conversation from 2021 in which the quarterback called Brown out for acting like "a young immature man that is selfish, self serving, irrational and irresponsible," TMZ reports, but clearly the message didn't quite register.
Mel B didn't mince words when it came to naming the “biggest [ ]head” she's ever met during her appearance on Britain’s 'The Big Narstie Show' on December 2. “So, there’s a few,” the former Spice Girl began per The Wrap. “James Corden, Geri Halliwell, Jessie J, and me.” The singer clarified that while she loves Halliwell, her former groupmate can be “really annoying." Her joking tone disappeared, however, when it came to the 'Late Late Show' host. “I think you always have to be nice to the people that you work with—whether it be production, camera guys, sound, lighting,” she explained. “We all work for the same thing, so you should always be nice, and he hasn’t been very nice.” Mel, who appeared on Corden's show in both 2016 and 2018, is not the first to criticize the host, as he was called out earlier in 2022 for being rude to staff at NYC's Balthazar restaurant.

Migos members Offset and Quavo appeared to get into a scuffle backstage at the 2023 Grammys ahead of the tribute performance honoring Takeoff, the late third member of their rap trio, which is rumored to now be defunct. Cardi B was captured on video breaking up their fight, yelling loudly in footage obtained by Entertainment Tonight, "Both of y’all wrong. Both of y’all! This is not right." Cardi added, "you shouldn’t have been talking.” It seems the rappers were fighting about how the tribute should go, as a source told TMZ that Quavo allegedly refused to allow Offset to join him for the tribute, even though the Recording Academy reportedly requesting the pair to perform together.
Eva Longoria appeared on 'Who's Talking to Chris Wallace' where the host brought up her big break on the famed soap opera 'The Young and the Restless.' The actress laughed and said, "Oh god, don't show a clip," and after the clip aired she laughed and said, "I can't believe you found that." Longoria then spoke about how she kept up a job she got at a temp agency while still on the show because the show "didn't pay enough for [her] to live off being an actor."
Her seemingly innocuous comments, however, were perceived as direct attacks to 'Young and the Restless' co-star Eric Braeden, who played Victor Newman. "EVA LONGORIA: you just made derogatory remarks about daytime actors!" his tweets began. "You simply weren’t good enough to survive the pressures of this medium! You were very lucky to get on that 'housewife' show! You did one show in 8-12 days, with mediocre but salacious dialogue! Our actresses would run rings around you!! And they did then!! From Robert di Nero [sic] to whoever they all are, many of them started in the medium you denigrate! It shows a complete lack of class!!"
A Twitter user added, "She was awful as Isabella. We used to laugh at her scenes," and Braeden replied, "There you go! She was a caricature!!"
Braeden's outburst seemed dramatic to others, like one user who wrote, "I just saw the clip and she didn't say anything bad. Nor did she make any derogatory remarks about daytime actors. She just said that she made more money being a headhunter than she did on Y&R." But Braeden replied, "Come on now, the whole tenor of that segment was one of embarrassment about her stint in Y&R and HOUSEWIVES! What did you not get about that?"
WWE stars turned Hollywood actors John Cena and Dwayne Johnson had a major feud a decade ago, though Cena now says he feels “shortsighted and selfish” for having started it. Luckily, their feud didn't totally ruin their relationship, as Cena added, "it was almost at the cost of our friendship, which I would like to say now is in a really good place.”
