Numerous places of worship across the world have been abandoned—churches, chapels, and even cathedrals that have closed their doors forever. Some have been allowed to fall into solemn disrepair, others simply forgotten over the passages of time. Many, though, remain fine example of religious architecture and are certainly worth seeking out to admire.
