▲Gob says, "Well, I will tell you this, Michael. I don't have a son—" and the narrator interrupts, "He does," and he continues, "—but if I ever do, I'm either going to take him to the cabin in the woods, or I'm going to promise to take him and then not take him. But the one thing that I will never do is not tell him that I'm taking him to a cabin in the woods, and then not take him!"

▲A table of executives asks him why they should believe in him, and Gob answers, "For the same reason that you should believe that a $100 bill is no more than 100 pennies."

▲Gob says, "I've got this Christian girlfriend now, and she's trying to get me to be a better man and reconnect with my son. And I'm trying to get her to renounce God and [bleep] me. And I just want to prove to her that I'm worth it."

▲Things don't usually work out for Gob, so over the course of the series you can hear him repeatedly and emphatically yell, "COME on!"

▲"Now, when you do this without getting punched in the chest, you'll have more fun."

▲"Please refrain from discussing or engaging in any sort of inter-office [bleep] or [bleep]-ing, or finger [bleep] or [bleep]-sting or [bleep]-esting or even [bleep]-ing, even though so many people in this office are begging for it. And if anybody does anything with my sister Lindsay, I'll take off my pants, I'll shave my [bleep], and I'll personally [really long bleep]."

▲Michael tells Gob to stop coming to him and asking for money after having made a huge mistake, to which Gob responds, "I've never admitted to a mistake [laughs]."

▲Gob tells Michael that he should be in charge because he's older, and Michael asks if he even wants to be in charge, to which Gob replies, "No… but I'd like to be asked!"

▲Whether he's landed himself in jail or he's trying to end his relationship (or trying to get the same woman back into a relationship), Gob's calm "I've made a huge mistake" is hilarious every time.

▲After admitting he screwed things up (again), Gob says, "But I bought a yearbook ad from you, doesn't that mean anything anymore?"

▲Gob replies, "Illusion, Michael. A trick is something a wh*re does for money." The camera then pans to show a group of children shocked at his language, and Gob adds brightly, "Or cocaine!"

▲He asks, "My god, what is this feeling?" and Michael tells him, "Well, you know the-the feeling that you're… that you're feeling is-is what many of us call 'a feeling.'"

Gob replies, "But it's not like envy, or even hungry..."

▲Lucille Austero, an older woman, accuses Gob of being ashamed to be with her, and Gob assures her, "No! I was ashamed to be SEEN with you. I like being with you."

▲Gob tells Michael that Steve Holt is coming, and Michael says, "Your son?" to which Gob replies, "According to him." Michael rebuts, "And a DNA test…" and Gob says, "I hear the jury's still out on science."

▲But he's quick to call other people "chicken," and he follows it up with a strange "coke-ah-coke-ah" or "koo-kooka-koo" while clapping and hopping from one foot to another.

▲Michael begins the idiom, "''You give a man a fish, he'll eat for a night. If you teach a man to fish…'" and Gob finishes it with, "He'll want to use your yacht, and I don't want this thing smelling like fish."

▲After Michael tells him he doesn't want to hear about it, Gob says, "I don't want to say it. First place chick is hot, but has an attitude, doesn't date magicians. Second place is someone weird usually, like a Chinese girl or a geologist. But third place, although a little bit plain, has super low self-esteem. So I step in and, uh, lay her crown upon my sweet head."

▲"I'm a failure. I can't even fake the death of a stripper."

▲While jamming the close button in the elevator as a colleague walked toward him, Gob says, "[laughs] Yeah, the guy in the $4,000 suit is holding the elevator for the guy who doesn't make that in three months—come on!"
