The marriage of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was the longest royal marriage in British history. But when Princess Elizabeth married Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on November 20, 1947, she likely didn't expect it to endure for over 70 years, along with her record-breaking reign.
