The Texas Stars faced a double header at home this past weekend against the Milwaukee Admirals and walked away with four points. It was their fifth home game win in a row. Colton Sceviour and Travis Morin continued with their hot streak on Friday night, each with two goals in the 7-4 win over the visiting Admirals. Morin had three points on the night and continues his domination on the AHL leaderboard.

The Stars were quickly up 5-1 over the Admirals Saturday night but their opponents fought back hard to close the gap 5-4. Francis Wathier opened up the score in first period and it was Toby Peterson's shorthanded goal gave the Stars their 5-1 lead in the third period. The Stars looked solid on their penalty kill through the first two periods but it was a power play goal in the third period that lead to the furious finish.

Prior to Saturday's night bout, it was announced that Hubert Labrie had been returned to the Idaho Steelheads. No word as of yet on the return of Jack Campbell and Cristopher Nilstorp.
