The Texas Stars currently sit second in the West Division with 32 points. They trail division leader the Abbotsford Heat by 8 points and are fourth in the Western Conference. The Dallas Stars' farm team is on a three game winning streak, winning two in regulation and one in overtime. Travis Morin and Colton Sceviour continue with their domination over the league in points. Sceviour is second in the AHL with overall points at 30 and Morin trails behind by one point. Sceviour has the most goals at 18 and hot on his heels is former Texas Star Matt Fraser of the Providence Bruins.

The Iowa Wild made their long-awaited, albeit unwelcome, return on Friday night. The night proved that there was no love lost between the former Houston Aeros and the Texas Stars, the Wild falling to the Stars 4-2. The Wild returned the next night only to face an overtime loss, courtesy of overtime champ Sceviour.

It comes at no surprise that today it was announced that Sceviour would be joining the Dallas Stars and was present at their practice this morning and subsequent children's hospital visit. You can read the press release below.

FRISCO, Texas - The Dallas Stars announced today that forward Colton Sceviour has been recalled from the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
