Road trips can either make or break a team. Long plane rides and even longer bus rides combined with lack of sleep and back to back games can be detrimental to a team's success. On the other hand, some people believe that the camaraderie on a long road trip can help a team gel on and off the ice.

The Texas Stars are currently in the midst of a 6 game road trip. So far, it looks like the team has found their stride together. In San Antonio on November 25th, the Stars posted a 5-3 win over the Rampage, with goals from Travis Morin, Matt Fraser, Brenden Dillon, Colton Sceviour, and Scott Glennnie.

The second game against Rockford on November 27th had a rocky (pun intended) start, as the Stars found themselves down 3-0 in just the first few minutes of the first period. But the team rallied together for a 5-4 win, including a biscuit for Reilly Smith's first professional goal.

The Stars still have to face a double header against Grand Rapids, move on to Peoria and finish up in Milwaukee before heading home. Their biggest opponent will be Grand Rapids, who sit first in the Midwest division. The next home game will be Friday December 7th against division rival Houston Aeros.
