In the second round of the 2013 draft, the Stars looked to add even more depth to an already promising lineup of young goaltenders. Phillippe Desrosiers was the third goalie selected in the draft at that point and is a 6'1 Quebec native.

Desrosier had notable performances in the World Juniors in 2013 posting a .970 Save percentage and a .80 GAA. He is a very athletic goaltender with a lot of potential to be a top NHL goalie come 5-6 years from now once he can hone his positional game.
