Last night, Colorado Avalanche goaltender, Semyon Varlamov turned himself into Denver authorities based on charges of domestic violence.  When the arrest started to surface, reports of a possible kidnapping charge also began to circulate.  Varlamov is scheduled to appear before a judge at 10:30, MDT.

Varlamov has been the centerpiece of Colorado's red hot start to the season, playing outstanding in net. So far, Varlamov has posted a 7-1 record, .945 SV%, and 1.75 GAA. The Stars face the Avalanche tomorrow evening and it looks like J.S. Giguere will be getting the start.
