After back to back wins over the Odessa Jackalopes this past Friday and Saturday, the Amarillo Bulls remained at home to face the Wichita Falls WildCats for the annual New Years Eve game. The Bulls, who are currently in first in the South Division and still first in the entire league, look to keep pace on top of the NAHL.

Sounding like a broken record from recent games, the first period didn't start out well for the Bulls this New Years Eve game as the Wildcats got on to the board first, with a goal from Matt Robinson. Later still in the first period Robinson would light the lamp again giving Wichita Falls a 2-0 lead.

Now on to the second period with the Bulls on a power play, Ryan Cole would get one past WildCat goalie Cowley to get things going for Amarillo just down 2-1. But just like that Wildcats would respond and get another goal past Bulls netminder Berrafato, which there after would result in a change in net with Chad Catt coming into the game.  Bulls forward Brady Ferguson would score with assists from Gernhofer and Grabowski to get the game to 3-2, still WildCat lead.

Amarillo would take the momentum gained from their late goal in the second frame and start the come back. TJ Sarcona would get a powerplay goal seconds in to knot the game at 3 all in the third period. Several minutes later Bulls forward Travis Underwood would score with an assist from Sarcona making it 4-3 Amarillo lead. Ryan Cole would seal the deal with an empty net goal giving the Amarillo Bulls the 5-3 win over the Wichita WildCats. This was a perfect way to close out 2012 for the Bulls, who next head down to Frisco, TX to battle the Texas Tornado.
